A new brand film for Forevermark has been post produced by Prime Focus for JWT. The 90 second film tells the story of a rough diamond being crafted into a beautiful polished diamond which is set into a piece of unique Forevermark jewellery. The footage was acquired digitally on a RED camera and conformed and graded in Baselight.
"The brief was to create a luxurious, elegant and sophisticated look" noted Prime Focus colourist Duncan Russell, who contributed the grade. "It was a very technical grade, because we needed to lift the Forevermark brand colours - cyans and golds - out of the refraction of light through the diamonds."
"We all learnt a lot about the colour of diamonds in terms of the ochres and blue tones," contributed Flame artist Rob Ellis. "For me, it was a matter of making the diamonds look as good as they possibly could, and making sure they looked super sharp."
3D was provided by Andy McNamara and Smoke work by Fraser Cleland.
